We are happy to begin our new journey in Philippines. It is our joy to share our life and activities in the Asian continental novitiate. We are a mix group in cultures and nations. Four of us are from Vietnam, three from East Timor and one from Myanmar.
Our activities were as follows:
- On October 1st is the arrival of Novices to the Asian Continental Novitiate after completing their ten days of quarantine in their hotel.
- On October 5th, we celebrated the Feast of our Foundation of the Congregation and gave farewell to Sister Themar who left for Spain on 6th of October. We are grateful to Sister Themar for her selfless service to our community.
- On October 7th, we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and we welcomed Novices officially to the Canonical year of the Asian Continental Novitiate.
- On October 11th to 15th, we had classes with Sister Rose on Spirituality of our Congregation.
- On October18th, Sister Pushpa Mecwan arrived at Philippines after her home holidays and thereafter she continued her quarantine in her hotel.
- On October 20th to 23rd: We had classes with Sister Fatima on the Apostolic Exhortation Gaudium et Exsultate of Pope Francis.
- On October 24th, we celebrated Mission Sunday. We had meaningful prayer service for the missionaries of all over the world.
- On October 25th, we had online forty-day Mass of Sister Pilar. We also welcome Sister Pushpa in the community and celebrated our Sorority Day.
- On October 26th to 29th, We had class with Sister Pushpa on the “Life and mission of Monsignor Ramon Zubieta our Father Founder”.
- On 29thof October, we had our monthly evaluation in the community.
- On October 30th we had the monthly Eucharistic Celebration and Sacrament of Confession in the Community. We invited Father Mathew OP our main Celebrant.
- On October 30th evening we had a webinar organized by Maryhill School of Theology on topic of Ad Gentes, “Missionaries without border”.
- On October 31st, we closed the Rosary and Mission Month. We reflected the seven sorrows of Mary our Mother, and we specially prayed for all the missionaries all over the world.
