LIGHT AND SILENCE

Light gives us life. We desire it, every day, for everything, we wait for it to start the day, prayers, tasks, work, outings, moving, doing, meeting, studying, visiting, “staying”. travelling, shopping and, everything! Everything, if we have light, and if we don’t, everything is suspended.

There is nothing, we wait for the light to be on for everything. And yes, we always wait because, even if it dawns and we perform the pile of tasks and everything, everything we do, needing a “light” that everyone seeks, craves for it.

 Sharper, the one that inspires us, the one we long for. It is noticeable that we all, we expect and need more light! That’s why all over the world and in all cultures, in all countries there are precious, grandiose, spectacular illuminations. 

And that Light is God, approaching us in Silence, a silence charged with love, a silence of solidarity, a silence that is listened to?

The Silence of God is heard and the clamor, the clamor of children, women, men, suffering, marginalized, ignored, silenced, made invisible, is heard. And God contemplates us, He likes all of us, each one of us, whether we are good or bad.

 God manifests Himself in so many ways to each one of us and through everything: events, wars, deaths, injustices, lies, darkness…. If he also manifests himself in the darkness and?

Embraces us, loves us as we are. He is our Father and He cannot stop loving us, He approaches us and gives us little lights that will encourage us to continue in solidarity, loving and supporting us, listening to us, with mercy, with patience, without looking at timetables. He overlooks the prayers, the songs and the “Holy” hours… He only wishes, in Silence, to continue with His Light by our side.
