It was Friday, October 7, 2022, on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Protector and Model of the Congregation. That day was a great joy for me as I took the first steps of my vocation in the Congregation of the Dominican Missionaries of the Rosary, to which I had aspired for many years.
During the first years of my aspirancy, I always wondered if I could one day be a postulant. I thought about it because I began my journey in this congregation when I was still very young, but the desire burned within me to enter the convent soon and be a nun one day.
That day has finally arrived! What dazzle and wonder filled my entire being! At the very beginning of the celebration my JOY was not yet expressed, but once the commitment was made and I was clothed with the Dominican insignia (MDR) of this stage, delivered from the hands of the accompanying sisters, in the presence of the sisters I had come from, other communities of ours: BATCHAM, MENDONG and the Dominican Family, that overflowing joy that inhabited me began to be expressed. Who can truly resist the true call of God!
What a joy to say YES to the Lord!
May by his grace and with the help of MARY our Mother and you, my sisters, accompany me so that I too can participate in his work in the world within this Congregation of the Dominican Missionaries of the Rosary.
