PART TWO: SHARING THE SECOND PART

The work is very nice, every month we walk from place to place in 11 communities that make up zone 49. The response of the young people is very generous: they give their time and the best of their abilities and talents. In each meeting, we have space for two moments of prayer, we develop themes for programmed formation and other concerns of the young people. We celebrate the liturgy, then we share lunch, and sometimes we finish with sports.

Some of the activities we carry out are economic, two vigils a year, singing and music contests, meeting with other areas, an outing once a year. The young people are always ready to welcome anything new that can be offered to them to improve their commitment. They receive visits from other people and sisters who want to come and share experiences. In this area, the young people are characterized by their passion for singing and Christian music as a means to evangelize and make our people aware of the defense of the environment. They animate the liturgy and other celebrations with dynamics, particularly with the youth meetings and catechists’ meetings.

The Catechists are very committed people in our Church and to their people, they are being prepared for three years by the Vicariate so that, they later assume the mission of celebrating the liturgy every Sunday in their community. They prepare for the sacraments and support the youth groups.

In sharing all this, I feel blessed by the Lord and for all that He allows me to give and receive in this mission.
