We shared with you dear sisters the different events that marked our lives in the postulate in Malaika community in Kinshasa. We entered the postulancy on April 29th, 2018. We started by living a three days retreat called “Come to see”.
Our retreat was animated by the MALAIKA’s community sisters: Sister Ines Raimundu and Sister Wivine Munduku. Our entrancy to the postulancy had place during an eucharistic celebration honored by the presence of our Sister Clarisse and our Sister and Provincial Marie Louise. The ceremony was marked by the explanation of the symbol and the commitment of each of us. It was the presentation of the cross and the register of the trip.
In our promotion we are four postulants. Our entrancy to the postulance had been great. We had celebrated with the sisters and we had also celebrated Saint Catherine of Siena’s life, our older sister and model to follow in the big Saint Dominic family.
During our study, we were benefited of knowledge and scientific knowledge of many people: Papa Hugo Kieleka, our French teacher who has always been there for us and our beloved sisters: Clarisse, Marie-Louise, Wivine and our master Irma Ines.
After the catechism course taught by our sister Clarisse, we went to practice catechism every Saturday from 3:00 to 4:45 pm. We also had relaxation time in the last month (August). We went to discover Zongo Falls in central Congo. For the excursion we were accompanied by Lisungi agents, professed sisters and other three sisters. It was a moment of joy, discovering and relaxation.
To finish our experiences, on November 3rd, 2018, we were very happy to celebrate the congregation’s centenary and the perpetual vows of our sisters Françoise and Bénédicte.
